Application for Summer Research Stipend

Through generous UBF memorial endowments set up by the families of Suk-Ki Hong, MD, PhD, Michael Anbar, PhD & Ada Anbar, PhD, and Hermann Rahn, PhD the department is able to award limited funding for summer research projects for students.

  • To be eligible for funding, students must be working on research with a faculty member of the Department of Physiology and Biophysics.
  •  A comprehensive final report will be submitted at the conclusion of the project.

Preference will be given to undergraduate students.

Final Report Includes:

  • project summary and objectives
  • detailed methodology
  • results and analysis
  • conclusions and implications
  • recommendations for future research
  • documentation of expenditures
