Doctors for Soldiers

This organization offers guidance and advice about medical careers in the military.

Unlike other medical students, students on a military medical career track complete a six-week officers’ basic training course, have different schedules for away rotations and an independent match process. At Doctors for Soldiers meetings, members discuss how to address these issues and prepare for military medical practice.

Upperclassmen in the military share their experiences with newer students, and the club hosts lunch lectures featuring military physicians discussing topics such as how the military setting affects practice in their specialties.
