Emergency Medical Student Association

The EMSA hosts skills workshops and lunch lectures on emergency medicine for first- and second-year medical students.

EMSA activies have included:

  • Workshops on ACLS simulation, EKG reading, emergency ultrasound and intubation clinics
  • A lecture introducting emergency medicine
  • A trauma lecture
  • An information session about Mercy Flight at its headquarters
  • A dinner and Q & A session with fourth-year students who matched into emergency medicine residencies

Who Can Participate?

While all members of the UB community can attend lunch lectures, only EMSA members can participate in skills workshops.
