The MD-PhD Roadmap is a resource to help guide students through their 7-9 year journey here at UB.

The MD-PhD Guidelines provide all policies and procedures for MD-PhD students.

Grounding you in the sciences fundamental to medicine, our preclinical organ-based curriculum utilizes self-directed learning and trains you to think critically and solve problems individually or as a team.

We offer workshops, interactive learning sessions, and individual academic counseling for exploring content, processes, and thinking skills to maximize student success.

The MD-PhD required curriculum for the PhD consists of 72 credit hours from required and elective courses. Up to 36 credits can be transferred from the MD.
