As an orthopaedic surgeon, my practice is centered on providing the highest level of orthopaedic care for fractures and lower extremity joint reconstruction. From simple fractures to complex pelvic trauma, I take pride in personally delivering the care my patients need. The same focus on personal care applies to my elective practice performing hip and knee replacement.
In addition to seeing and treating patients in Western New York, I enjoy keeping up with current research topics. My research interests include orthopaedic trauma outcomes and pain management in the acute setting, as well as utilization of three dimensional imaging technology in orthopaedic patient assessment and preoperative planning.
I joined the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2008, and and served as Program Director for our residency program for 10 years. I enjoy the challenges and rewards of training future generations of orthopaedic surgeons. Teaching enriches my practice as it requires me to be at the top of my game and to stay current with the latest practices and techniques in the field.
