Clinical Associate Professor, Division of Clinical and Translational Therapeutics
Department of Pharmacy Practice
Antimicrobial resistance is the central theme of my research program. Enhancing the paradigm of antimicrobial resistance as a metric in pharmacodynamic evaluations is essential to developing the foundation for optimization of antimicrobial therapy. Furthermore, understanding pharmacotherapeutic factors that influence and are influenced by antimicrobial resistance is imperative to the translational application of foundational science. Dissemination and collaboration are key elements in expanding invaluable efforts.
My roles work in concert to support my research program and to provide clinical leadership and education: Laboratory Director, Clinical Study Team Leader/Member, AIDS Clinical Trials Group Pharmacologist, Clinical Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Specialist, Student/Resident/Fellow Mentor, Course Coordinator, Course Lecturer/Instructor
