Emergency Medicine; Emergency Medicine – Point of Care Ultrasound

Professional Summary:

As an ultrasound fellowship trained emergency medicine clinical instructor, I spend much of my time working in the emergency departments of both Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) and Buffalo General Medical Center (BGMC). I find treating the diverse patient population in our city of Buffalo alongside the trainees at our academic teaching hospitals extremely rewarding.

When I am not working clinically, I spend my time working on various ultrasound centered quality improvement projects for our departments, and performing quality assurance through image review. I also spend time taking residents and students through the department for bedside ultrasound teaching and scanning shifts.

Though I spent my childhood years near Albany, NY and my college years in Ithaca, my journey along the I-90 brought me here to Buffalo for medical school, residency, fellowship, and now my full time academic position. I am extremely grateful to be a transplant to this community and hope to spend many years to come!
