Clinical Assistant Professor
Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences
Diagnostic Radiology; Informatics; Radiology; Sports Medicine
As a proud Buffalonian, I was thrilled at the opportunity to return to Western New York after training and help launch the resurgent diagnostic radiology residency a few years ago. Now with over 10 years of experience in diagnostic radiology and five years of experience in the education of medical students and residents, I am equally as excited to step into the role of the diagnostic radiology residency program director. My clinical background in musculoskeletal radiology has prepared me well for the patient population and pathology I encounter on a daily basis at the Erie County Medical Center, the region's only level I trauma center, where I also serve as a staff radiologist. As an educator, I take my responsibility as a mentor for future radiologists very seriously and have been awed by the progress our residents can make in only a few short years. Finally, my background in informatics has allowed me to take a systems based approach to resident education, trying to maximize the efficiency and efficacy of the short time we are given to train competent and compassionate physicians.
