Over the last several decades Dr. David W. Rattner has lead a truly impressive career in surgery. He received surgical training at The Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and has stayed with MGH since. Currently, Rattner is the Chief of the Division of General and Gastrointestinal Surgery, co-director of the Digestive Healthcare Center, and on the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts General Hospital. In addition to his involvement at MGH, Rattner has lead national organizations such as The Society of American Gastrointesinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).
