The Department of Psychiatry’s Academic Symposium is intended to provide a forum for promoting scholarly collaboration and activity in the Department. All residents, faculty and other trainees are invited and encouraged to attend. The topics range from reviews of current important topics in psychiatry to the presentation of specific scholarly projects of relevance to the field. Presenters come from both within and outside the Department of Psychiatry and we welcome interested faculty and trainees from outside the Department to present or attend this conference. The symposium recurs on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM in Conference Room 1180A, ECMC and does not meet in July and December. If you have an idea for a scholarly project or presentation that you’d like to discuss in the future, please e-mail Dr. David Kaye at dlkaye@buffalo.edu.
