We're excited to announce that we will be holding a pilot meeting for the JSMBS chapter of the American Muslim Medical Student Association (AMMSA).

We will be introducing the new student organization and our plans for the year!

Some things we look forward to hosting include:
• seminars on the intersection of Islam and Medicine
• seminars on treating Muslim patients and rules of the religion involved with important medical decision making
• Iftars during ramadan
• opportunities to get involved with the Muslim community as volunteers, mentors, and more!

**Being Muslim is absolutely NOT a requirement. We are looking forward to seeing you all there!**
