HUMAN RIGHTS INITIATIVE AT THE UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO invites you to learn how to conduct medical and psychiatric evaluations for victims of torture seeking asylum in the US. Successful completion of training is a requirement for all who wish to volunteer with us in the future.
Who is eligible? Physicians, Residents, Fellows, PAs & NPs, Medical Students,
Mental Health Providers, Lawyers/Law Students, Social Workers, and Judges.
*Required Pre-Training Modules + In-Person Attendance
