To help support UB students and employees without adequate internet connections at home to practice social distancing, two student lots and one faculty/staff lot now have access to fast, secure UB Wi-Fi.

In a recent survey of approximately 2,800 UB students, nearly 15% indicated that their internet at home is not adequate for completing school work remotely. This Wi-Fi expansion is intended as another option for members of the UB community without access to high-quality internet, in addition to free internet and wireless hotspot offers from internet providers.
