UBIT is dedicated to supporting faculty and staff with a wide array of software and technology services and support. Thanks to dedicated landing pages on the UBIT website, it’s easier than ever to find all of our offerings. 

Faculty

Visit buffalo.edu/ubit/faculty to learn about services and software for instruction, including: 

  • Classroom combinations
  • Panopto course capture/streaming
  • Zoom
  • UBbox and OneDrive file store and sharing
  • Microsoft 365 (Copilot, Teams)
  • UBmail
  • UB VPN

Additionally, classroom technology assistance is available within 10 minutes on North or South Campus, and faculty are encouraged to use the Level Up gaming lounge for instruction when possible.  

Staff

Visit buffalo.edu/ubit/staff to learn about services and software for staff members, including:

Feedback and improvement

Whether you’re a staff or faculty member, your input is essential. UBIT sends out biannual surveys to faculty and staff to gather feedback on what we’re doing well and how we can improve. Please take a moment to fill them out and give us your thoughts.
