Built-In Mail App

  1. Go to Settings and tap on Mail
  2. Tap on Accounts
  3. Tap on your UB Mail account and tap Delete Account
  4. Tap Add Account
  5. Choose Microsoft Exchange
  6. Enter your UB email address and set the Description however you’d like (Ex: “Exchange,” “Work Email,” “UB Email”)
  7. Tap next
  8. You will see a prompt to Configure Manually or to Sign In.  Choose Sign In
  9. You will be redirected to a Microsoft site where you will be prompted to enter in your UB email address
  10. A UB-branded site will then open.  Enter your UBIT password
  11. Complete Duo Two-Factor Authentication
  12. Once you authenticate, you will be prompted to select the data you wish to sync.  We recommend selecting Mail and Calendar, and deselecting Contacts.
  13. Tap next to complete setup.
Unable to verify account information

Try the following steps:

  1. Load login.microsoftonline.com
  2. Sign out
  3. Return to the mail setup

Outlook App

  1. Tap on the Exchange UBmail account icon at the top left corner
  2. Tap the gear icon at the bottom left corner
  3. Under Mail Accounts, tap your UBmail account
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
  5. When prompted to enter your email address, type in your UB email address
  6. Log in with your UBITname and UBIT password and complete Duo two-step verification.
