Professional Summary:

Quantitative scientist and computational structural biologist working with comparative protein structure analyses, molecular dynamics, and mathematical modeling of protein conformational changes. Particular areas of focus are methods development for image analysis and processing, tool building for nanocrystal detection for diffraction-based structural methods, and methods for crystallization of macromolecules. Target systems of interest include crystallins and other proteins involved in vertebrate vision, metalloproteins, and proteins in viruses and other infectious pathogens.
