Visiting Medical Student Sub-internship

We welcome students from outside medical schools to spend a four-week rotation at our program.

Visiting allopathic or osteopathic students from other university programs within the United States are welcome to apply to take fourth-year clinical electives or sub-internships via the Visiting Student Application Service (VSAS).

The VSAS is an Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) application designed for medical students to apply for senior electives at U.S. medical schools and teaching hospitals. See the VSAS website to apply for an elective.

This opportunity is administered and overseen by the Office of Medical Education (OME).

Please note that the demand for educational experiences far exceeds our ability to accommodate them. We have, therefore, established a policy that will keep open visiting student opportunities for domestic students, and we will continue to meet our current exchange program obligations for foreign-trained students.
