The Department of Pediatrics is composed of 18 divisions, all actively engaged in research and dedicated to excellence in patient care and teaching.

  • Division of Adolescent Medicine

    The Division of Adolescent Medicine provides specialized and multidisciplinary services focused on the health and psychosocial needs of adolescents and young adults, ages 12-30.
  • Division of Allergy/Immunology and Rheumatology

    The Division of Allergy/Immunology and Rheumatology cares for children and adolescents with asthma, food allergy, atopic dermatitis, juvenile arthritis and other allergic and rheumatologic conditions.
  • Division of Behavioral Medicine

    The Division of Behavioral Medicine studies behavioral factors relevant to the development or treatment of pediatric disease.
  • Division of Cardiology

    The Division of Cardiology provides comprehensive care to infants, children and young adults affected by, or suspected to have congenital and acquired heart disease.

  • Division of Developmental Pediatrics and Rehabilitation

  • Division of Emergency Medicine

    The Emergency Department at Oishei Children's Hospital (OCH) is the Level 1 ACS-accredited Pediatric Trauma Center servicing all 12 counties of Western New York. It has an annual volume of more than 45,000 pediatric patients under the age of 21 and is the tertiary referral center for pediatric subspecialty care.
  • Division of Endocrinology/Diabetes

    The Division of Endocrinology/Diabetes cares for infants, children and adolescents affected by diabetes or hormonal disorders regarding the thyroid, growth, sexual development or puberty.
  • Division of Gastroenterology and Nutrition

    The Division of Gastroenterology and Nutrition provides evaluation and diagnosis for infants, children and adolescents with diseases involving the gastrointestinal tract and/or liver as well as nutrition support services.
  • Division of General Pediatrics

    The Division of General Pediatrics delivers a broad range of education, research and clinical care. We provide primary care pediatrics, newborn care and pediatric hospitalist service at Oishei Children’s Hospital and Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.
  • Division of Genetics

    The Division of Genetics is comprised of physicians, genetic counselors, and other professionals who specialize in human genetics and genomics. We provide clinical genetics services for children and adults.  We also educate medical students, residents, fellows, and other learners through the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

  • Division of Infectious Diseases

  • Division of Medical Education

    The Division of Medical Education is home to the Pediatric Residency Program.
  • Division of Neonatology

    The Division of Neonatology provides care for critically ill newborns. Our clinical care and research are focused on infants born prematurely or with low birth weight, term or preterm infants requiring surgical intervention, infants requiring resuscitation at birth, as well as the subsequent care required to assure the best possible outcomes for all of these patients.
  • Division of Nephrology

    The Division of Nephrology provides comprehensive care to all infants, children and adolescents with kidney disease who live in Western New York and northern Pennsylvania.
  • Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine

    The division of pediatric hospitalist medicine (PHM) provides inpatient care at Oishei Children's Hospital (OCH) and long-term care for pediatric patients at HighPointe on Michigan.
  • Division of Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine

    The Division of Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine provides the evaluation, diagnosis and management of pediatric lung diseases.
