Koury Receives Teaching Award

Stephen Koury, PhD, director of graduate studies and assistant professor in the Department of Biotechnical and Clinical Laboratory Sciences, has received the 2011 master’s teaching award from the Northeastern Association of Graduate Schools (NAGS).

The award recognizes excellence and creativity in teaching graduate students. In selecting the recipient, the award committee also considers innovation in graduate curriculum development and implementation.

Koury received the award April 15 at the NAGS annual meeting in Boston.

The NAGS is one of four regional affiliates of the Council of Graduate Schools. It draws institutional membership from 12 states and six Canadian provinces.
