Grant Supports Humanistic Care and Collaboration

The Gold Foundation grant supports scholars who are developing educational projects aimed at achieving humanistic patient care that can be replicated across various health care settings.

The funding also supports Cherr’s collaboration with Jeffrey Myers, DO, director of the Behling Simulation Center. The two physicians are working to create interdisciplinary leadership/teamwork simulation scenarios for medical students and trainees from all five of UB’s health sciences schools.
