Travis is a powerful motivational speaker and a former college ice hockey player. Roy sustained a spinal cord injury and was paralyzed from the neck down while playing ice hockey. Founded the Travis Roy Foundation, a nonprofit that focuses on finding a cure for spinal cord injuries and provides grants to spinal cord injury survivors in financial need. Advocates for individuals living with spinal cord injuries. Authored, Eleven Seconds, an autobiography.
