All six recipients of the 2014-15 Translational Pilot Studies Program grants will present results of their research at a colloquium to be held at the University at Buffalo Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC) on Thursday, October 13, from 1:30 – 5:00 p.m.

The colloquium will feature 15-minute oral presentations by selected speakers and poster presentations representing either completed studies or “works in progress” by the awardees. Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) PI Timothy F. Murphy, MD, will present an overview of the CTSA program and Director of the Pilot Transitional and Clinical Studies Core Steven J. Fliesler, PhD, will introduce the pilot studies program. Later in the program, Fliesler will also provide potential applicants tips for success in submitting future pilot study letters of intent and full applications.
