Dr. Sevdalis will present the content and structure of a term-long module on implementation and improvement research, which forms part of a recently launched MSc in Implementation and Improvement Science at King's College London.

Implementation science is a relatively recent field of multidisciplinary scientific research focused on accelerating the translation of evidence-based practices into routine care or health service delivery. In this lecture, Dr. Sevdalis will provide introductory information on the field of implementation science, including definitions and descriptions of the aims and scope of the field, its policy-practice motivations and goals, and its relationship to other types of health research.
