Emergency Medicine
After attending medical school at the University of Connecticut, Samantha moved to Boston, MA where she completed her residency in emergency medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Upon graduating, she moved to Buffalo to be close to family and begin her career in emergency medicine. After working with a private EM group for 2 years, she joined UB|MD Emergency Medicine in 2015 which was a happy return to the world of academic medicine!
In May of 2017, took on the role of medical student director. Overseeing all of the EM electives and courses, she enjoys an active role in the medical school, including as Phase 2 Committee Chair.
When she isn't working clinically or in her role as student director, she is spending time in Elmwood Village with her husband, 3 children, and their golden retriever.
