Family Medicine Endowment

The Family Medicine Endowment Fund was created in 1997 to support the department’s mission in perpetuity. Contributions are deposited into a fund that generates revenue to sustain a variety of initiatives, such as those that allow residents to take advantage of research opportunities or attend conferences.  

Gifts to the Family Medicine Endowment Fund are considered donations to the University at Buffalo and are tax deductible.

Goals of the Fund

  • Supporting family practice research
  • Teaching the interpersonal skills required of a family physician
  • Providing care to underserved communities
