Human Trafficking Clinic

Community faculty physicians volunteer as preceptors at Well Health Clinic at PATH (People Against Trafficking Humans). Medical students at UB lead this clinic serving the needs of women struggling with mental health, substance use, and domestic violence in the context of human trafficking. We welcome fellows to join our effort to help this vulnerable group.

UB HEALS is a street medicine outreach initiative of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo.

Addiction Medicine fellows and faculty attend street medicine outreach rounds to engage with the chronically homeless of Buffalo and encourage linkage with addiction treatment.

Working alongside medical students furthers the fellowship’s goal to destigmatize substance use disorders both among patients and the health care community.

Task Force PSA

Fellowship faculty members partnered with the Erie County Opiate Epidemic Task Force to create a public service announcement for the community warning about the risks of opioids and encouraging treatment.
