This weekly morning workshop series consists of scholarly presentations, peer review, instruction by participating faculty and brainstorming sessions.
The Primary Care Research Forum encourages interdisciplinary collegial support among our department and UB’s Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Pediatrics and Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health.
Participants present findings from completed research and raise theoretical and methodological issues. During our “balloon sessions,” we discuss research ideas and grants and receive guidance on manuscripts in progress.
Each session has specific learning objectives with respect to medical school teaching, scholarship, academic career management and clinical practice.
We meet at 7:30 a.m. Thursday during the academic year in room 208 of the UB Gateway Building, 77 Goodell St.
Our school designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.
