Academic Staff

Dr. Reynolds administers and maintains an educational environment conducive to educating Neurosurgery residents in accordance with the ABNS, ACGME, and State University of New York at Buffalo’s Graduate Medical Education policies, procedures, and requirements, and oversees all aspects of resident didactic and clinical education at all participating sites.  She is dedicated to assisting neurosurgery residents in receiving a superior learning experience as well as opportunities for professional and personal growth.  Dr. Reynolds also serves as the director and the primary mentor of all medical students, Sub-I’s, and observers that rotate through our department.

As the Neurological Surgery Residency and Neuroendovascular Fellowship Training Program Administrator, Jennifer manages the day-to-day operations of the training programs in collaboration with the program directors and chief residents.  She also manages all aspects of the residency candidate interviews, organizes educational activities, maintains training records as required by the ACGME and ABNS, as well as serving as the liaison between the training programs and the UB Office of Graduate Medical Education.

Debi assists residents and fellows in the preparation, submission, and publication of scientific manuscripts, syllabus contributions, abstracts, posters, PowerPoint presentations, and other documents.

Fawn assists with the publication demands and, like Debi Zimmer, assists attending physicians, residents, fellows andPhD candidates in the preparation, submission, and publication of scientific manuscripts, syllabus contributions, abstracts and other documents.

Paul has 30 years of experience in medical illustration and media and is available to provide high-quality medical illustrations, graphics, photography, and video editing services to meet the department's publication and presentation needs. Paul also manages all social media, website and marketing efforts for both the clinical and educational needs of the department.

Jennifer coordinates events in conjunction with the education department including resident interview social events, resident graduation, visiting professors, as well as the recruitment of new physician faculty members; she is also the Medical Student Coordinator.
