The Division of Developmental Pediatrics and Rehabilitation is a qualified team of providers that works together with families to ensure positive quality of life for children with developmental disabilities and complex healthcare needs. 

Education and Training

All pediatric residents rotate through our clinics to gain expertise in development, learning, and rehabilitation. We also offer a one module elective for medical students in their third or fourth year.

Clinical Care

Perhaps nowhere in medicine is the importance of prevention and intervention as critical as in the care of children with developmental or acquired disabilities. our mission is to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services consisting of diagnostic, evaluative and therapeutic services to children in Western New York and surrounding areas with known or suspected disabilities. We also aim to promote whole child wellness and meaningful outcomes for those with developmental disabilities and other childhood disorders of the peripheral nervous system and/or musculoskeletal system by providing comprehensive complex care through evidence-informed practice and community partnership. Our clinics are at the Robert Warner Center for Developmental Pediatrics and Rehabilitation, at Oishei Children's Hospital Outpatient Center, Conventus Building, 2nd floor.

  • NICU Follow up Program and Early CDP
  • Down Syndrome Program
  • Feeding and Complex Care
  • Motor Delays and Disability 
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessment and Evaluation
  • Leukodystrophy Care
  • Spina Bifida        

Services are family-focused and provided in conjunction with primary care pediatricians and community resources.
