Thirteen medical school teachers and four residents received Louis A. and Ruth Siegel Awards during the School of Medicine and Biomedical Science’s 2014 Teacher Appreciation Day and award reception April 16.
Forty-three outstanding medical students, residents, fellows and faculty members have been inducted into the University at Buffalo’s Richard Sarkin Medical Emeritus Faculty Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS).
Reflecting more opportunity for resident input and strong community partnerships, the University at Buffalo’s residency training programs in surgery and pediatric surgery have been granted full accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
