Clinical Assistant Professor
Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences
Epilepsy; Neurology
I am a board-certified neurologist specializing in the comprehensive treatment of patients with epilepsy. I completed my neurology residency and fellowship training in epilepsy at the University at Buffalo. My clinical practice focuses on providing comprehensive care for patients with epilepsy, with a particular passion for caring for women with epilepsy, especially during pregnancy, the postpartum period, and lactation.
In my practice, I work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, and radiologists to treat patients with medically refractory epilepsy, offering non-pharmacological treatments, including epilepsy surgery. I also interpret both inpatient and outpatient electroencephalography (EEG) studies at Kaleida Health. Additionally, I am one of the attending physicians caring for patients in the level 4 epilepsy monitoring unit at the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, where patients are closely monitored and evaluated for seizures and epilepsy.
As part of UBMD Neurology, I am actively involved in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows, helping to shape the next generation of neurologists. I see patients at both the UBMD Neurology clinic at Conventus and the UBMD Neurology clinic in Williamsville, while also providing consultation and inpatient management for adult patients with a wide range of neurological disorders at Buffalo General Medical Center.
