Dr. Strauss, a Western New York native, completed medical school and residency at the University at Buffalo. Upon completion of residency in 2020, where she served as chief resident in her final year, she joined the faculty at UBMD Emergency medicine. Dr. Strauss works clinically in the emergency departments at Buffalo General Medical Center and Erie County Medical Center. In addition to clinical duties, Dr. Strauss is involved in the residency program as a reading group leader, journal club coordinator and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee Chair.
