As specialist in Hospital Medicine I provide high quality of care to patients when admitted to the hospital. I have worked across various hospital systems including inner city hospital, large tertiary care hospital, and as well as a small community hospital. The unique environments that I have had the privilege to work have provided me invaluable experience how working within different health care system to provide excellent care to patients.
From a learner I transitioned to teacher. I serve as associate professor of medicine preparing future physicians for the exciting field of medicine. I am involved in the education of medical students, interns, and residents to not only provide good medical care but compassionate care. Medicine is an ever changing and evolving field. Teaching and practicing medicine has allowed me to stay abreast of all of the new developments through these various roles.
The aggregate of these roles have allowed me to serve as section chief of Internal Medicine at Buffalo General Medical Center. Working with the health system to provide high quality patient care, optimal learning environment for budding physicians, and efficient transition of patient care.
