I am an interventional cardiologist with additional training in structural heart interventions as well as peripheral vascular interventions. My clinical practice includes general cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging, interventional cardiology and complex valvular heart diseases as well as peripheral vascular disease. I see outpatients at the UBMD and Great Lakes cardiovascular offices and my inpatient practice is primarily at Buffalo General Medical Center (BGMC) and the Gates Vascular Institute (GVI). My inpatient practice is broad and includes caring for patients in the cardiac intensive care unit as well as telemetry patients. I also have other non-invasive responsibilities include transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress testing, cardiac CT and advanced cardiac imaging for structural heart procedures. I also perform a myriad of procedures including coronary angiography and intervention, structural heart interventions as well as peripheral vascular disease interventions including interventions for pulmonary embolism.
I am involved in clinical research at the Gates Vascular Institute and I participate in multiple clinical trials spanning coronary and structural heart interventions, high risk coronary interventions and cardiogenic shock as well as pulmonary embolism. I am also involved in other projects involving our medical students and training residents and fellows.
I have always been involved in teaching students, residents and fellows, both as chief resident and chief fellow and now as a clinical assistant professor at the University at Buffalo. It is an honor and a privilege to participate in training the next generation of physicians and I enjoy being a part of our training physicians journeys to success.
