Professional Summary:

I am a Board Certified Neurologist (ABPN) who is fellowship trained in both Vascular Neurology and Neuroimaging. I completed my Residency training in Neurology from McMaster University, Canada and recently completed a Double Fellowship in Vascular Neurology from SUNY Buffalo and Neuroimaging from Dent Neurological Institute before joining Gates Vascular Institute, Buffalo General Medical Center. I am also Board Certified in Neuroimaging accredited by UCNS.

I have also obtained a Master’s in Science focusing on the basic science of Insulin Signalling at the molecular level in the context of type II Diabetes Mellitus and Obesity. I completed my medical training at University of Sydney, Australia at the prestigious Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA) in downtown Sydney . Prior to entering my speciality training, I worked in general and acute care medicine for 5 years in several hospitals located in Sydney-Australia, Dublin-Ireland, and London Uk. I spent 2 years working at St George's Hospital in London England, one of the largest teaching hospitals in Europe, and I am currently registered with General Medical Council of the UK.

My Clinical focus involves inpatient stroke service at Gates Vascular Institute and Outpatient stroke neurology at UBMD Neurology Williamsville and Conventus locations. I also have an expanded interest in Neuroimaging in the Memory Clinic at UBMD Neurology as well as working in the outpatient memory and adult concussion clinics.
My research focus includes the use of acute treatments for stroke as well as stroke prevention. I am also involved in Neuroimaging research.
