Transportation and Parking Permits

Students of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences will have NFTA Bus and Rail access loaded onto your UB ID Card, that allows for free and unlimited use of all NFTA buses and rail. Free parking, with convenient access to NFTA bus and rail stations, is available at the LaSalle Station, Main St. at LaSalle Ave. or on the South Campus in the Main-Bailey Lot.

Choices for off-street parking at the downtown campus are 854 Ellicott Street and the Michigan-Goodrich Parking Garage.

There is an additional cost to purchase off-street parking, and the purchase must be made each semester. 

If you choose off-street parking, your permit will be available for pickup from the Migo Parking Garage shortly after registering. You will receive a separate confirmation email when it is ready for pick-up.

Register for a UB Parking Permit if you plan to park on the North or South Campus. Your permit will be mailed out shortly after you register.
