President-elect Donald Trump has vowed to repeal legislation by President Barack Obama, including the Affordable Care Act.
Nancy H. Nielsen, MD, PhD, senior vice dean for health policy and former American Medical Association president, said measures in a U.S. bill passed in 2015, and then vetoed by Obama, would have effectively eliminated health insurance for 22 million Americans.
“They could dust that off, put it through again,” she said. “That would be easy to do.”
