UB Commits to Join Fight Against Health Disparities

UB has created the Community Health Equity Research Institute, which will fight health disparities in some of Buffalo’s poorest neighborhoods. Community leaders joined UB President Satish K. Tripathi and Timothy F. Murphy, MD, senior associate dean for clinical and translational research, and director of UB’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute, for an announcement of the new institute, which Murphy will lead.
