Jacobs School Graduate Dies of Brain Bleed After Fighting COVID-19

Adeline Fagan, MD, a recent graduate of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences who was completing the second year of her residency in Houston, died after becoming infected with COVID-19 in July. Fagan’s primary task at a Houston hospital was delivering babies, but she had also treated COVID-19 patients. Fagan’s family received support from medical school friends and professors throughout Adeline’s battle with coronavirus.
