Accreditation Awards Announced

Nine fellowship and residency programs have received Outstanding Accreditation Awards from the Office of Graduate Medical Education.

The awards recognize programs granted either four- or five-year accreditation cycles from their respective accrediting body.

The awards recognize programs granted either four- or five-year accreditation cycles from their respective accrediting body—the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or, in the case of osteopathy, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).

The maximum length of an accreditation review cycle is five years.

Five-Year Accreditation Awards

The following programs were granted a five-year accreditation cycle:

  • Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism fellowship (2015)

  • Radiation Oncology residency (2015)

    No citations from the ACGME; notable practice identified
