Bisson has lectured nationally and internationally and published dozens of peer-reviewed articles. He serves on the editorial boards of the Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy and Operative Techniques in Sports Medicine.

Med School Expansion Continues

Bisson brings to 12 the number of new chairs or chair-level appointees named by Michael E. Cain, MD, vice president for health sciences and dean of the UB medical school, since 2008.

These hires are among 100 planned positions that will help fulfill the medical school’s strategic vision.

State support, including funds provided through Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo’s NYSUNY 2020 legislation, is enabling UB to pursue the next phase of its UB 2020 strategic plan.
