M. Aleksander Wysocki has been elected to full membership in Sigma Xi. Wysocki is a doctoral candidate in the Computational Cell Biology, Anatomy and Pathology program. He is studying under Jack Tseng, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences.
Individuals who have shown noteworthy achievement as an original investigator, as evidenced by publication as the primary author on at least two different articles published in a refereed journal, patents or refereed monographs in a field of pure or applied science, are eligible for election to full membership.
Membership is by invitation and requires nomination by two current members.
Sigma Xi is the international honor society of science and engineering, founded in 1886 to honor excellence in scientific investigation.
