In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, we are excited to announce that we will be hosting our next GSPHA Voices for Diversity in Healthcare Series.

We invite you all to join us for a panel discussion on “Dissecting the Model Minority Myth: Exploring the Needs of Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders in Healthcare” led by renowned leaders in the AAPI community, who advocate and persevere for change and equity in the future of healthcare.

It is important that we together learn and address the healthcare and research challenges faced by the AAPI community. We will discuss the importance of increasing visibility of diverse ethnic subgroups within these populations, to address their healthcare needs and advance community engaged culturally informed care from a multidimensional perspective.
