This workshop will cover an overview of the evolution of the federal definition of "scientific (research) misconduct," the norms of responsible conduct of research (RCR), description of some notable cases of RCR violations, ways in which such violations are managed (including the University at Buffalo's process for dealing with allegations of research misconduct), as well as some case discussions that highlight the workshop content.

This workshop series is free and open to all students, fellows, faculty, and staff at UB and the Buffalo Translational Consortium.
