National and local leaders and activists in health equity will join University at Buffalo clinicians, researchers and students on June 6 to share insights and findings at the Community Health Equity Symposium sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Health Sciences at UB. Keynote speakers include Monica Webb Hooper, PhD, deputy director of the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities at the National Institutes of Health; Kelly Marie Wofford, MS, director of the Erie County Office of Health Equity; and Karabi Acharya, MHS, ScD, Global Health, of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
