Our Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BCB) program is an interdisciplinary program that provides students with training in the biological sciences, mathematics, and computing needed to elucidate the molecular entities that govern biological organization at all levels, from molecules to ecosystems.
Each summer, the University at Buffalo hosts a free, virtual biomedical informatics bootcamp. These bootcamps consist of a series of lectures on programming, data science and the fundamentals of the varied subfields within biomedical informatics. With a wide variety of courses and experienced instructors, these lessons offer knowledge and skills for novice to experienced learners.
