Our research goal is to improve emergent patient care through discovery and translation.

We conduct innovative and relevant research using a robust department infrastructure that engages faculty and learners and leverages a balanced portfolio of federal, regional, philanthropic, industry, and department sponsored research with the goal of making the our a destination of choice for faculty, learners and patients.
