Residency Tracks

You'll choose from one of our four residency tracks, each of which offers a distinct and individualized training experience.

  • Urban/Buffalo General – Jericho Road Track

    This residency track, at a culturally sensitive medical home, serves low-income community members and a global population of patients originally from Burma, Nepal, Congo, Somalia, Syria and more.
  • Urban/Erie County Medical Center Track

    Refine your skills in a collegial environment as you care for a culturally diverse population, including many medically underserved patients.
  • Suburban/Millard Fillmore – UB Family Medicine Amherst Track

    Make a positive impact on patient care as you train with our expert faculty in a thriving suburban practice and community hospital.
  • Rural/Olean General 1 - 2 Track

    Contribute to the health of a tight-knit community, provide continuity of care and develop personally and professionally in our rural training track.

  • Academic Faculty Development

    Whether you’re caring for underserved patients in developing countires or helping patients here in Buffalo, as a global health scholar, you’ll refine your core primary care skills and enhance your cultural competency.
