Residency Tracks & Concentrations

Our three distinct residency tracks — along with our concentrations in global health and academic faculty development — allow you to train toward your specific career goals.

Residency Tracks

You'll choose from one of our three residency tracks, each of which offers a distinct and individualized training experience.

2/7/19
This residency track, at a culturally sensitive medical home, serves low-income community members and a global population of patients originally from Burma, Nepal, Congo, Somalia, Syria and more.
7/19/18
Refine your skills in a collegial environment as you care for a culturally diverse population, including many medically underserved patients.
10/18/18
Make a positive impact on patient care as you train with our expert faculty in a thriving suburban practice and community hospital.
12/19/17
Contribute to the health of a tight-knit community, provide continuity of care and develop personally and professionally in our rural training track.

Concentrations

Our two concentrations, in conjunction with your residency track, offer you tailored training opportunities to further develop your skillset.

9/11/18
To meet the growing demand for skilled clinician-educators, we offer training that will prepare you for a future of clinical teaching, curriculum development and leadership.
2/7/18
Whether you’re caring for underserved patients in developing countires or helping patients here in Buffalo, as a global health scholar, you’ll refine your core primary care skills and enhance your cultural competency.
