Nearly half of your training experience as a fellow is dedicated to conducting research alongside our internationally recognized faculty.

Our 10-month research modules and didactic conferences and rounds give you substantial opportunities to pursue your unique research interests. You’ll participate in:

  • designing and performing studies 
  • interpreting and synthesizing research data

In a field as dynamic as infectious diseases, new basic and clinical research findings transfer rapidly to improved clinical care. Concepts you learn during your research experience will enhance your approach to patient care.

Research Project

As a fellow, you'll complete a project that will thoroughly acquaint you with the particulars of independent research.

Our world-class faculty offer diverse research topics and will support you through every stage of your project.

We encourage you to publish a clinically-oriented report in addition to your research project. We'll mentor you on writing a publishable manuscript and guide you through the revision and submission process.
