Gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition fellow Alia Hasham, MD (right), is mentored by Andrew H. Talal, MD, MPH, whose lab has received multi-year funding for its programs in translational and clinical research on liver disease.

Our division is dedicated to furthering the field of gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition by making advances in the laboratory and providing cutting-edge, comprehensive patient care to the region. We know the importance of strong mentoring, and we strive to provide our trainees with superior clinical and research training.

The education and training opportunities we offer are at the forefront of medical innovation. Our fellowship boasts diverse clinical experiences paired with robust didactics and research possibilities across the broad spectrum of the discipline.
